Polyimide films (also known by DuPont's trademarked version, Kapton®) are the ultimate in high temperature tapes. Utilizing a silicone-based pressure sensitive adhesive, polyimide tapes have the capability to withstand temperatures of up to 500°F (260°C) while offering high di-electric strength. As a result, Viadon's polyimide tapes are ideal for a wide range of uses, including (but not limited to!): wave soldering, circuit board insulation, and very high temperature powder coating applications (435° - 500°F).

Amber in color and offered on 36 yards rolls, Viadon's standard 1 mil polyimide tapes will handle a vast array of masking or protection tasks that require short periods of very high heat. Can be slit to any width, and die cut to nearly and shape or size.
